Request For Evidence 'RFE' and Notice Of Intent to Deny 'NOID' Explained.

An update to USCIS policy instructs agents to issue an 'RFE' which is a Request For Evidence or a 'NOID' which is a Notice of Intent to Deny. This update to the policy will ensure applicants have the opportunity to correct simple errors and unintentional omissions before final a resolution in their case. The previous policy allowed officers to deny certain requests without first issuing an RFE or NOID.
